Virtual Fireworks Display

This page is set for a few seconds delay before the onset of the effects. So just stifle yourself for a few seconds (perhaps drumming your fingertips on the mousepad while you wait) Then the whole mess repeats again every 10 seconds.

You should be seeing the streak and the explosions plus hearing appropriate sound effects. If you don't hear sounds, check your preferences under file helpers - "uLaw/au" should have a plugin selected to play sounds. The sound may be a bit spotty on slow connects.

There are 48 bursts in this script for early Netscape® and newer Microsoft® Internet Explorer browsers - a lot, but really needed to give a decent effect - each with minor offshoots in a matching color.

Unfortunately, since the improvements to the Netscape® 6.2 browser by AOL®, loop iterations of that magnitude ain't possible, so those users only get 12 bursts.

You may, of course, substitute other color changes and images for those used here...
