Smut Engine



We've all had the problems with scripts that automatically post visitors' remarks to our clients' message boards or with automatic email posts to our clients.

Not our fault, right? Even so, it makes you look a bit more professional if you can screen out the worst of it.

This little script pre-parses the forms prior to submission - either to your CGI script or a "mailto:" action for the form.

You can very easily "tailor" this script to screen words objectionable to you or your client. You can even "smut out" your client's competitor's names!

There are two varieties of "replacement" of offensive words demonstrated below and you simply pick the methodology you prefer.
