Roll Over Buttons

This version of the roll-over button script engine also removes the "ugly rings" that appear in Microsoft® Internet Explorer or Netscape 6.x® Browsers when an image button or link is clicked by the user.

State Management is available, if you wish it. "State Management" simply means that the script "remembers" which page the user is viewing and disables the button for that page until another is selected while leaving the button in the "clicked" position. This gives an intuitive "feel" as to which page the visitor is viewing and makes navigation a bit more understandable.

The necessary JavaScript will be written to enable up to 20 roll-over buttons for your document. You should prepare three images for each button. These should be placed in a directory (folder) and numbered as follows:

0.gif ("plain" version of first button)
1.gif ("lighted" version of first button)
2.gif ("clicked" version of first button)
First Button Group
3.gif ("plain" version of second button)
4.gif ("lighted" version of second button)
5.gif ("clicked" version of second button)
Second Button Group
6.gif ("plain" version of third button)
7.gif ("lighted" version of third button)
8.gif ("clicked" version of third button)
Third Button Group

etc.

etc.
